Chilli India is a Melbourne restaurant serving authentic, fresh Indian cuisine. The establishment is always vibrant and bustling, with a team that works hard to deliver beyond expectations. The main goal for refreshing the Chilli India brand was to create an engaging customer experience that made visitors want to keep coming back, for the food, but also the atmosphere.
For 12 years Chilli India used a sketch of a little girl carrying a chilli as their trademark. Although the old logo was outdated, it was still memorable and entrenched in the minds of many customers.
Keeping all the key elements of this old logo, we simplified and elevated the brand. We used only the little girl’s head and then following the natural shape of the red chilli, curled it around her hair. The now round logo is far easier to use for digital and print applications, looks more modern and is still clearly recognisable as Chilli India.
