Another Year, Another Good Design Award!

We’ve done it again! We’re proud to announce that for the fourth year running, Mo Works has won a Good Design Award!

Following our success in 2023, where we won a Good Design Award for Excellence in Design and Innovation for The People’s Echo: Advancing Baw Baw, our work on PwC’s Digital Trust Manager: Assess, won the 2024 Award for Digital Interface.

The prestigious Good Design Awards, managed by Good Design Australia, an international design promotion organisation, have been running since 1958. Committed to promoting the importance of design and its critical role in furthering a better, more prosperous future, the Good Design Awards recognise, reward, and promote the value of design at a local, national, and international level.

PwC came to us as a creative consultancy specialising in design, communications, and digital products, to redevelop and enhance their assessment process experience, and we delivered.

PwC is a global leader in assurance, tax, and advisory services, managing risk assessments for companies of all sizes and capabilities. As such, they needed a platform that optimised the risk assessment process and provided value for their clients.

As a growth strategy and web development agency, we strive to employ industry best practices and techniques to create premium, high-level experiences. We incorporated best-in-class UX practices and new, advanced components to create an efficient, user-friendly platform that encourages consistent usage.

Our main challenge with this project was incorporating the numerous complex sets of assessment matrices and varied question formats into the platform. This meant there was a need for a range of infographic and analysis dashboards. Each assessment has multi-layered categories and lengthy question sets, meaning we needed to create a superior experience that continually worked to engage the user throughout the process.

We simplified the assessment process while improving communication hierarchies and enhancing user flows. We did this by dividing the platform into two experience categories: Questionnaire, where the user can easily respond to assessment questions, and Result, where the resulting data is presented clearly alongside recommendations for future actions to mitigate identified risks.

This platform collects, analyses, and shares critical risk assessment information, allowing businesses to efficiently and quickly identify and respond to risk. Integrating assessments developed by PwC subject experts with interactive dashboards and automated tailored advice, Digital Trust Manager: Assess is leading the charge in pioneering organisational risk profile management.
