Sicky started as an idea in 2019, to make medical certificates more accessible for ill employees, those living remotely and carers. What Sicky achieved was this and much more. The 2020 health pandemic happened and Sicky is now a leading provider of health via mobile devices in Australia, key for people living in lockdown measures.
Sicky is a telehealth app that is connected to a network of experienced pharmacists.
Available 24/7, these healthcare professionals provide free health assessments and if required will issue patients a medical certificate or carer’s certificate straight to their email inbox.
The concept is simple, yet telehealth was extremely underutilised in Australia.
Through good app design, clear messaging and strong marketing, Mo Works helped Sicky become one of the top 10 trending apps in the country.
Sicky has helped many Australians access the healthcare they need when it’s convenient for them, or when they couldn’t be assessed by a healthcare professional in person.
The Brand
Mo Works crafted a professional and clean brand for Sicky. Including logo, branding guides and assets, copy, social media designs, EDMs and more.
The Launch
For Sicky’s launch, our team developed a marketing and advertising campaign aimed at spreading awareness and optimising for the most downloads. The result was Sicky sitting at #7 in Trending Apps on Google Play Store in Australia.
The Product
Using React Native, we developed the Sicky app, the pharmacist’s dashboard and company website, to drive traffic and app downloads.
The result was a user-friendly app complete with UI/UX design, clear copy and extensive testing down to every notification and button. We provided ongoing improvements, updates and maintenance to ensure a high-quality experience for both the users and pharmacists.
