Recently the Women in Aviation and Aerospace Australia Initiative took place in Melbourne, bringing together professionals in all sectors to explore gender diversity and the facilitation of change in the industry.
Central sponsors of the A/AA's summit, we will now continue to support the initiative as they develop groundbreaking concepts for two campaigns. The team hope to raise awareness about gender diversity and encourage young women to pursue their careers in aviation and aerospace.
Creative director of Mo Works, Moayad Hamdouna, is an active supporter of gender diversity. Hamdouna has acknowledged that whilst the advertising industry is traditionally male dominant, Mo Works breaks this stereotype as an agency where 60% of its employees are female.
"We are thrilled to be a part of a movement that will influence women around Australia, in the aviation industry and beyond," said Hamdouna.

Through our long-standing partnership with Learn to Fly Melbourne, we have been inspired to extend our support beyond our client base to encourage further change in the aviation industry.
"Mo Works has strong ties to the aviation industry, and by building our relationships with flight schools has around Australia, we have observed from the seedling stages through our aviation partners and clients how the industry presents barriers for gender diversity. We wish to draw attention to how this can be changed," said Hamdouna.
"A/AA is proud to take a leading role in celebrating and promoting diversity in the workplace generally, and the Women in Aviation/Aerospace Australia program is designed to help the industry change the status quo in relation to the participation of women in this exciting and dynamic sector," said Tamara Bell, executive director of Aviation/Aerospace Australia.
We invite you to check out the A/AA to find out more about what they do to support Australian women in their careers.
