Leading a successful and constantly growing creative agency can be a grueling task, especially when balancing personal life with a young family. Our Managing Director, Mo Hamdouna, has previously shared his tips on work-life balance in an interview with Balance the Grind - a publication dedicated to showcasing healthy work-life balance through conversations with people across different careers and lifestyles. The publication has also interviewed other industry leaders, including Australian entrepreneur Davie Fogarty and the CEO of Raiz Invest, Brendan Malone.

In his interview, Mo shares personal experiences with work-life balance throughout his career, and the tips that helped him achieve the healthy balance he has today. Mo discusses how he leads the Mo Works team by example to create an environment that encourages openness and trust when it comes to personal matters. Mo also emphasises the importance of having a clear distinction between work and personal/family life, as it helps improve concentration, focus and control.

Mo Hamdouna's top tips for managing a healthy work-life balance:

  1. Have a dedicated workspace
  2. Avoid checking emails and social media first thing in the morning
  3. Pre-plan your day the night before, and your week the week before
  4. Enjoy the weekend!

A work culture that encourages healthy work-life balance is a big contributing factor to Mo Works’ growth and success. It allows our team (take a quick peek at our stellar team!) to focus our efforts on helping your business grow and thrive!
